Koki Satsukawa, Ph.D.
About
Koki Satsukawa is an Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Information Sciences, Tohoku University. His research focuses on evolutionary dynamics in urban transport systems, network traffic assignment, and traffic management and control. Specific areas include the analysis of adaptation processes in congested networks (e.g. day-to-day dynamics of departure-time and route choice, convergence properties in dynamic traffic assignment) and the design of control schemes based on them (e.g. congestion pricing, decentralised signal control). Recent work extends these approaches to emerging mobility systems such as shared autonomous vehicles and reservation-based transport services.
